Our love for rare and beautiful objects isn't limited to those of the horological variety! In addition to our perpetual treasure hunt for great watches, we cast a wider net into the world of vintage objects, a practice that, since our founding, has yielded a trove of finds we happily share  during the holiday season each year.

From vintage clocks to pocket knives, lighters to diving instrumentation, old-world ashtrays to desk sculptures — these are the types of mementos that heavily tug on our nostalgic heart strings and further sate our impulse for preservation and storytelling.

Referred to as the “Globe Model”, these F-86 Sabre desk models were gifted to employees who worked for North American Aviation and contributed to the Sabre Jet project. Crafted in the likeness of the F-86 fighter jet, the first swept-wing American jet fighters made, the Sabre was a fast flying terror in the skies, and saw early combat against the Soviet MiGs of the era. This model is produced in a plastic resin and comes affixed to a sculpted “globe” base and measures approximately 8 1/2” x 5"x 6". This model was produced by Topping Models of Akron, Ohio, one of the most notable model aircraft companies in the industry.
