This MWC G10 model is a direct descendant of the G10 watches we produced in the 1980s, retaining the iconic battery hatch—a feature many other military watch manufacturers have since abandoned. Initially essential for early quartz watches with short battery life, the hatch now serves as a nostalgic design element, maintaining its historical significance despite the modern battery lasting around five years.

Many customers inquire about the advantages of sapphire crystal over standard mineral crystal. Synthetic sapphire is the best material for watch crystals due to its strength and resistance to shattering and scratching, making it highly desirable for military and security personnel, police officers, and outdoor enthusiasts—who make up over 70% of our customers. Accidents that result in cracked crystals typically involve watches with mineral glass. Even our hardened mineral crystals cannot match the durability of sapphire under adverse conditions.
