This particular wristwatch features a machined titanium case, titanium crown, and a black leather strap. It is a stunning combination of classic style and modern craftsmanship. We absolutely love this limited-run dial that brings even more character to the watch. F.W. & D. is in reference to the Fort Worth / Denver railroad line that was very popular at this time. The train also reached Dallas for a brief time as well. Bringing even more historical meaning to this Railroad Grade watch with ties to the actual railroad line that it likely was used on. This watch is decorated with 21 functional ruby and sapphire jewels throughout the large build plate, which add to the visual display of the gold-plated gears beneath. This watch is unique in that the front bezel is actually removable in order to access the lever which allows you to change and set the time. This was a safety feature required on all Railroad Grade watches used on the trains of this time, so that the user couldn't accidentally change the time while winding the watch.
